Yearly Business Breakfast for Premium Members Held

Last Tuesday, in co-operation with the Royal Netherlands Embassy, GNBCC’s yearly Business Breakfast for our Premium Members was held at our Ambassador’s Residence.  With a turnout of 20 people, the morning started with a joint breakfast; all the tables were at more distance from each other to be in line with the Covid measures.

A word of welcome from our Ambassador Mr. Ron Strikker to our special guest Mr. Yofi Grant, CEO of the GIPC, and our GIPC Premium Member Senior Country Partner Mr. Vish Ashiagbor of PwC was spoken. Subsequently, Mr. Grant spoke in a keynote address where he reflected on the economic development of Ghana and the political insights after the just-ended elections. After that Mr. Ashiagbor spoke about the Ghana economy in relation to the Covid pandemic and its subsequent economic effects for 2021. GNBCC’s General Manager Mr. Wiarda opened the round of questions with a question about the status of the new GIPC act; after him, other Members asked some questions concerning the current economic developments.

At 10 am the breakfast was closed after which a group picture was taken in front of the entrance of the residence
