UK is now treated as a ‘third country’.

All EU agreements are still in place. Important issues such as those of Rules of Origin require special attention. There is no accumulation of Rules of  Origin with third countries, hence exporters using the UK as a hub to export to the EU will no longer be able to benefit from preferential tariffs. These exporters can better switch to for instance the Netherlands
