Can you tell us about yourself and why you decided to become a lawyer?

Prior to becoming a lawyer, I dreamed of becoming a medical doctor. I did science all the way to O-level. But after O-levels I then decided to become a lawyer and have been practicing for the last 22 years.

I was first called to the bar in England & Wales. Thereafter I returned to Ghana to undertake the Post Call Law course where I qualified as a lawyer in Ghana as well. So, I’m qualified to practice in Ghana and England & Wales.

Aside from being a wife and mother, I enjoy playing golf and listening to all kinds of Christian music.

What is an accomplishment you are most proud of?

I have spent most of my career working on high profile cases that have reached the Supreme Court of Ghana. Some of these cases have also become landmark decisions and are cited even to date.
