Introducing GNBCC's New Team Member- Benjamin Eyram Agamah (Programmes Officer)

We are excited to introduce to our members, partners and friends of GNBCC, the newest addition to the GNBCC Team, Benjamin Eyram Agamah, who joined GNBCC as a Programmes Officer for the Horticulture Business Platform on 1st April, 2024.

Below is a brief profile presented by him.

I first heard of GNBCC during my National Service tenure at the University of Ghana, where I served as a Research Assistant. It was during this time that I encountered a flier for one of GNBCC's projects, the Horticulture Business Challenge (HBC), a program that aimed to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application in horticulture. Participating in this intensive 10-day event was truly transformative for me. It opened my eyes to a plethora of opportunities within the horticulture industry that I had previously been unaware of. The caliber of resource persons, mentors, coaches, and the overall support provided during the program, all at no cost, spoke volumes about the spirit of GNBCC and left an indelible impression on me.

My journey took a significant step forward when, as an alumnus of the HBC 2023, I learned of an opening for the position of Junior Project Officer on the Horticulture Business Platform (HBP) and promptly applied. I was thrilled to have been offered the position, which I officially commenced on April 2, 2024. Though my tenure has just begun, I am already gratified by the path I find myself on. The working environment at GNBCC is incredibly welcoming, with a team composed of young, dynamic individuals eager to collaborate and learn from one another.

In my role, I work closely with the Senior Project Manager, Mr. Barnabas K. Apom, and Grace Agorigo on the HBP—a platform designed to unite all stakeholders in the horticulture sector, providing a shared community and platform to address industry challenges. Together, we have planned a series of engaging activities for the year ahead, slated to kick off in May.

I am eagerly anticipating the opportunities and experiences that lie ahead and I’m enthusiastic about contributing to the continued success and growth of the organization.

Here's to an exciting journey ahead!
