Upcoming Event: the EU-Ghana Business Forum (3-4 July 2024)

The EU delegation is organising the EU-Ghana Business Forum planned to take place on 3rd and 4th July 2024 at the Marriott Hotel.

The Forum is organised in close coordination with European Business Chamber (EuroCham), the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MoTI), Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration (MOFARI), Ghana Exports Promotion Authority (GEPA) and the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC)  In addition, we will seek collaboration of the EU Member States Embassies,), the Ghana Agribusiness Chamber, Association of Ghana Industries (AGI) and Ghana National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GNCCI).

The EU-Ghana Business Forum will provide a platform for robust engagement among policymakers and private sector operators from Ghana and Europe.  The Forum aims at identifying and exploring mutually beneficial opportunities along selected value chains, as well as key projects that can be supported under the EU Global Gateway Strategy currently being fleshed out.

During the Forum, high level discussions will emphasise the options and benefits that have resulted from the Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA) and could be further strengthened by a new Sustainable Investment Facilitation Agreement (SIFA). Once in force, the SIFA would bring benefits of an increased certainty, stability and sustainability of bilateral Ghana – EU investment relations. The Business Forum will also include high level conference and an exhibition including exhibition stands and a B2B event.

Several exhibition booths can be offered to our members. The EU Ghana Business Forum will focus on current and prospective investments in the ICT/digital, health/pharmaceutical, agricultural, renewable energy and automotive (including electric vehicles) sectors.
