Vivo Energy completes acquisition of TotalEnergies Marketing Jordan, introducing the Engen brand to the Kingdom

GNBCC Premium Member Vivo Energy Ghana celebrates a significant milestone as Vivo Energy Group completes the acquisition of TotalEnergies Marketing Jordan.

Vivo Energy Group, a leading African energy distribution company operating around 4,200 service stations across 29 markets, has completed the acquisition of TotalEnergies Marketing Jordan, including its network of approximately 180 service stations and its commercial fuels and lubricants operations.

The acquisition marks Vivo Energy’s expansion into Jordan and introduces the Engen brand to the Jordanian market, further strengthening its global footprint. Engen is now present in 13 Vivo Energy markets worldwide, reflecting the company’s continued growth and commitment to delivering quality energy solutions.

Commenting on the acquisition, Stan Mittelman, CEO of Vivo Energy Group, described the transaction as an important milestone in the company’s growth journey as it expands beyond Africa into Jordan. He highlighted Vivo Energy’s commitment to bringing its customer-focused approach, strong local partnerships and community-driven values to the new market.

Adel Saadallah, Managing Director of Vivo Energy Jordan, expressed his pride in leading the company’s expansion into Jordan, noting that the transition will build on existing relationships with employees, dealers and customers while maintaining continuity and supporting future growth.
